Sunday, Apr. 12, will be something completely different and a little bit silly. Many churches have started the tradition of a Holy Humor Sunday following Easter Sunday. The spiritual basis for it is that it’s a celebration that death has been defeated, so it’s time for joy and laughter! It will be an all-ages worship with a noisy offering, and our kids and youth might have other involvement, too. For the sermon, I’m going to revive something I did several times at Living Water, although I was younger then. I’m going to do short, improv sermons based on words and phrases that YOU write down. I won’t see them ahead of time, and I’ll have to make up a sermon on the spot. Do I still have enough brain cells to do improv sermons? You’ll have to come see or watch online to find out.
